Our warehouse team is skilled in the art of packing orders! Once your order is received by them it will be carefully packed in custom boxes. Each product we offer has been carefully analyzed to make sure it gets packed not only according to the manufacturer's standards but to your standards as well.
Temperature-sensitive items, such as those that need to be chilled or frozen, are carefully placed in a styrofoam lined box with bags and pellets of dry ice. Enough dry ice is used to keep your delivery at the right temperature until you receive it.
Upon receiving the delivery, please immediately place it in the fridge or freezer. If you are away when the delivery is completed, please pay special attention to your email for confirmation that the order has arrived, and arrange for it to be taken inside and placed in a fridge or freezer as soon as possible.
Dry ice can cause cold burns when touched without protection, which is why our packaging includes safety labels and handling instructions. We note on our website during checkout that frozen items are shipped with dry ice, so customers are aware before the order is placed.
While we cannot make determinations about injuries that occur during the handling of a shipment, we want to ensure customers have the helpful information they need. Recommended guidance includes:
- Avoid direct skin contact with dry ice
- Allow the remaining dry ice to evaporate in a safe, ventilated area
- If the customer is experiencing numbness, discomfort, or blistering, please seek medical attention

Information regarding large-order shipping can be found HERE.
Please note that our warehouse packs everything as tightly as possible to ensure the item remains frozen/refrigerated during transit and the dry ice surrounds the item. As dry ice dissipates it will create pockets of space in the package and products can shift around.
